SHANGRI-LA HOTELS AND RESORTS
As director of communications of Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, Londonย I had the privilege to plan and execute the very successful PR launch of the brandโs first property in UK.
Amongst the numerous awards and recognition, the hotel was honoured in the Travel and Leisure IT List of the best new hotels on the planet as well as the Conde Nast Travellerโs Hot List of most exciting hotel openings around the world. The hotel opening was also documented in an hour long prime time feature on ITV, called Hotel In The Clouds.

I was also lucky to launch the brandโs first resort complex in the Middle East, comprising of the 460-keys Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah and the ultra luxury Al Husn in Muscat, Oman. The successful PR campaign placed the hotels in the Conde Nast Traveller Hot List of the 65 coolest new hotel openings in the world.
W HOTELS

Really proud to have launched W Hotelsโ first property in the Middle East as a Director of Marketing of W Doha Hotel & Residences in Qatar. Managed all internal and external communication channels for the 445 rooms, suites and residences hotel; two dining concepts by three-star Michelin chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and New Yorkโs signature Bliss Spa. The hotelย was honoured in the Conde Nast Traveler Hot List, featuring the best new openings worldwide.
TAJ HOTELS, Resorts & Palaces

Had the privilege to manage all internal and external marketing and communications channels of the two Taj properties in London โ St Jamesโ Court and 51 Buckingham Gate alongside the brand’s signature Jiva Spa and numerous restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Quilon. Scope included public relations, advertising, digital, events, collateral, sponsorships, partnerships and corporate social responsibility.
STARWOOD HOTELS AND RESORTS

As Starwoodโs Area Director of Public Relations for the Arabian Gulf, I managed all media relationships and opportunities in Bahrain, Qatar & Oman.
Prior to that I was spearheading the marketing and public relations of the two Sheraton properties in Doha, Qatar.
LUXURY PARTNERSHIPS
The world’s first Jaguar Suite


Had the privilege to launch the worldโs first Jaguar Suite at the Taj 51 Buckingham Gate in London. Overseen by Jaguar’s acclaimed Design Director, Ian Callum, this suite features specially-commissioned furniture, artwork and displays. The sleek design of the 1,832 square foot, two-bedroom apartment alludes to both classic and contemporary Jaguar models, from the legendary 1960’s E-type to the state-of-the art C-X75.
SHANGRI-LA london CULTURAL SALON

An exclusive series of sunset Q&A cocktail events with some of the most exciting names in the โEast Meets Westโ cultural scene. The aim was to introduce Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London to the British arts and cultural elite by celebrating the brandโs Asian heritage, while raising funds for the hotel’s chosen London charity The Blackfriars Settlement.

The critically acclaimed fashion designer created a limited edition of luxury slippers, available exclusively at Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London. Featured in Financial Times Weekend โWorth Itโ Section and Harperโs Bazaar โFashion Find of the Dayโ.
DESIGN COLLAB WITH JACKIE JS LEE


The London-based Korean designer, who opens London Fashion Week, created a bespoke capsule collection of two silk scarves inspired by โEast meets Westโ, sold exclusively at Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London.
FESTIVE WITH SHANGHAI TANG

The Christmas tree of Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London was designed by the pioneering luxury brand of Chinese chic, Shanghai Tang and included in Harpers Bazaar’s Best Christmas Trees of the year.
